1. JESUS CAME TO US!

We needed the Savior because we needed saving!

JESUS CAME AS THAT PERFECT SAVIOR…

  • He lived the life we couldn’t live!
  • He died the death we should have died!
  • He paid the debt we couldn’t pay!
  • He was punished for crimes He didn’t commit!

 

3. JESUS ROSE TO LIFE!

1 Corinthians 15:4-6

APPLICATION

PERSONAL:

  1. PRAY: that the Father will open your eyes to those who are without hope around you…without Christ.  (75 names last week)
  2. TALK: to the people God puts in your path this week.
    • conversation: friendship, spiritual, gospel
    • what if you asked 3 people this week that you meet, “How can I pray for you?”
  3. LIVE: Living a Jesus-Exalting, Gospel-Focused life means living with
    • love, grace, forgiveness – these point to Jesus
    • faithfulness, gratitude, joy – these point to Jesus
    • holiness, unity, hope – these point to Jesus

CORPORATE:

  • OUR MAIN GOAL AS A CHURCH IS NOT HAVING SUNDAY SERVICES OR PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE!
  • OUR ULTIMATE MOTIVE: TO GLORIFY GOD – The Church is the mission established by Christ to advance HIS KINGDOM!
    • the goal is NOT church…it’s Kingdom!  The church is God’s mission to advance His Kingdom!

The goal is to engage our communities and the University City community with the Gospel to make disciples.
We want CHRIST TO BE THE HUB OF EVERY HOME!

We want Jesus to build HIS church and advance HIS Kingdom for His glory alone.
